Marley Locatelli
Hello! My name is Marley and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist working with Mary. I received my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco and I am now earning my hours towards licensure.
I became a therapist because I am passionate about helping people through their daily struggles as well as helping them strengthen their relationships with themselves and with others. I am experienced in working with couples, individuals, and teens and have experience working with a variety of diagnoses, the most common being depression and anxiety disorders. I am passionate about helping women and couples and that is what most drew me to this field.
My theoretical approach is based in the psychodynamic perspective but is ultimately client-centered. I utilize evidence-based approaches and interventions from a wide variety of perspectives tailored to best suit your individual needs. It is important to me that you feel you are gaining something from this experience and I am committed to helping you reach your goals.
I provide a safe environment where you can feel seen, heard, valued, and can feel comfortable showing up authentically. I prioritize a collaborative and connection-based therapeutic relationship where YOU are honored as the expert of your own experience and feel you are in the driver's seat of your healing. If you are on this website, that means the willingness to change and the want to feel understood are there, you just need some guidance. Give me a call today for a free consultation so we can see if I am the right fit for you and your needs!
As a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), I have completed my Master’s Degree and am now acquiring my hours for full state licensure. I provide services under the supervision of Mary Vice, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 11058).
